End of Edition …

It’s always bitter sweet when an edition reaches it’s end and we no longer get to see it on the press in the studio. Leon recently printed the last of “Superman Meets the Archangel Gabriel at the Widji Sheep Dog Trials” with only a few remaining available for sale. When exhibiting we almost always pair Superman with “Sheila Kelly has a Girls Day In the Back Paddock Water Tank”. Although created 15 years apart these two etchings just sit naturally beside each other. An amusing look at outback Aussie life with a Pericles twist. When the last Superman is gone we’ll have to find a new partner in crime for Sheila and her girlfriends.
